Challenges
K9 Ballistics’ customers were overwhelmed with the different types of dog beds to choose from on the brand’s site.
The team sought a quiz solution to help customers easily find the right fit for their needs without relying on customer support assistance.
K9 Ballistics also felt that the day-to-day operation for managing their reviews with their provider Yotpo was cumbersome, and was looking for an alternative platform with an easier-to-navigate UI.

K9 Ballistics’ Dog Bed Quiz takes the customer through a series of questions to recommend the best product – asking questions such as the type of chewer their dog is, as well as their dog’s weight, age, and sleeping position the customer’s dog prefers.
K9 Ballistics also uses customer attributes in their Reviews to collect this data, in addition to product feedback, such as rating the quality and design of each bed.
The team then uses the data from Okendo to send personalized campaigns via Klaviyo and social media to retarget specific customer segments, driving more conversions throughout the marketing funnel.
Okendo’s ability to support a 10% incentive for review completion has also helped K9 Ballistics drive future purchases and improve customer loyalty.

Lastly, K9 Ballistics utilizes Okendo Surveys to optimize their marketing efforts by collecting feedback through questions such as “How did you hear about us?”, “How likely are you to recommend us?”, and “What can we improve on?” to ensure they meet the needs of their customers.
